A life changing event....

Some things we do in our life change our life forever and we are never ever the same.....this is one of mine.  Last week I had the day off and took the chance to go flightseeing over Mt. McKinley.  It was amazing I never thought for a moment it would be so beautiful from the air.  The glaciers, and glacier pools and the enormity of the mountains were all breathtaking.  Not something I thought I would ever have the chace to see in my lifetime.  I could not belive all that I was seeing I found it a little overwhelming as I was trying to take as many pictures as possible; as not to ever forget this moment.  

a real bear of a day......

Today was a busy day at work (nothing new there).  I was checking rooms to be sure the occupants are ready for their roommates, this is always fun as you never know what your going to walk into. 
Today while I was on my rounds of checking rooms I came onto quite a scare.  I opened the door and this is what I came upon.

It actually took me a minute before I realized it was NOT real LOL! 

Train trip to Denali...

This was the first tour I have taken since coming to Alaska; Princess has a rail as well as boats, and lodges.  They took a few of us on a train ride in their glass top train up to the Denali lodge.  We were fed anything we wanted from the menu, and when we got to the Denali lodge we were given a tour of the facility.  The reason they do this trip is so when guests are asking qustions we can tell them about the train ride, and about the other lodges.  Here are just a few of my pictures from that trip.
